Sutton Coldfield Ramblers

A varied circular walk of just under 8.5 miles starting from Kingswood Junction; the canal basin where the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal meets the Grand Union Canal. The walk started along the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal with the Lapworth Locks, then heading up to the Parish Church of Lapworth for our coffee stop. We then headed down towards the Tapster Valley with fine views of the Warwickshire countryside. After a sunny lunch stop we joined the Heart of England Way towards Lowsonford and onto the canal tow path. On the walk we enjoyed many signs of spring; lambs, bluebells, wild garlic and blossom.
