Sunday, 26th January
A mostly level walk of around 8 miles, with one steepish incline and six stiles. The walk starts at the Arrow Valley Country Park with the lake at its centre which we walk around on surfaced paths before making our way across fields to the ruins of Bordesley Abbey and the Forge Mill Museum. We head north, away from the town, following the River Arrow, passing across a golf course and several fields for lunch at St Leonard's Church, Beoley. The route back to the park includes open spaces and built-up areas. Refreshments are available afterwards at the park's Boathouse Cafe.
