A circular walk of 7 miles starting from the impressive Mount St Bernard Abbey on woodland paths, tarmac tracks and fields with limited road walking. The path crosses a bridge over Blackbrook Reservoir and passes lots of impressive buildings including a windmill. There are one or two manageable ups and downs, which with good weather will provide stunning views. There are no stiles. A couple of paths on the route need care - deeply rutted or stoney.
There is the opportunity to explore the abbey on return to the car park. The abbey has a tea room which is a 2 minute drive down the road with impressive food and drink.
The car park has toilets that can be accessed before and after the walk.
