A walk of around 5.5 miles across pleasant open country starting from the former mining village of Ansley. We walk along a section of the Centenary Way on field paths to Astley, with a view of the castle - the childhood home of Lady Jane Grey. We continue across fields, then skirt Oakridge golf course to return to Ansley along the North Arden Trail. Refreshments available at the Lord Nelson pub in Ansley.
