An easy, mostly flat figure-of-eight walk of around 5 miles. Starting from the War Memorial in Alrewas, the walk goes along a section of the Trent & Mersey Canal, on the National Forest Way, leaving the canal at Wychnor to walk along the lane to Wychnor Park for a coffee stop. It then joins the Millennium Way and descends to the flood plain to rejoin the canal towpath as far as Bagnall Lock then along to Daisy Lane before crossing fields back to the village..
