A flat, circular walk of around 5.7 miles, starting and finishing at the Miners' Rest, Chasetown. The walk went along Anglesey Wharf, the Wyrley & Essington Canal and then onto the Lichfield Greenway into Brownhills. A short walk along the pavemented road allowed us to join the Beacon Way into Chasewater. We walked around the lake, leaving at Chasewater Heath Station and onto minor tracks back to the Miners' Rest.
There were good tracks, lots of puddles but no stiles. We had a coffee break at Brownhills West Station. Refreshments were available in the Miners' Rest after the walk.
