A moderate, mostly flat 7.5 mile walk along field paths, good tracks and country lanes in the Burntwood Green and Hammerwich area. Starting from the Star Hotel, the walk crosses fields and tracks to Woodhouses, then follows minor roads through Spade Green and Dark Lane to join the Heart of England Way for a short distance before passing Pipe Hall and into Jubilee Wood. The walk goes on to Pipe Grange and Broad Lane, crossing the disused South Staffs railway line a couple of times before passing through Hammerwich and across fields back to the Star Hotel.

There are a number of stiles - all in good condition and most are  low in height. Refreshments available in the Star Hotel after the walk.
