A six-mile circular, undulating walk starting from the Church End Brewery car park in Ridge Lane.  The walk ges  along Purley Chase Road, then turns northwards to pass near Mancetter Hill Farm and on to Outwoods Bridge via Atherstone Golf Course. It joins the Coventry Canal towpath for 0.8 of a mile, crossing over the canal and continuing on a track to Oak Tree Farm. It then continues uphill for some distance to a glorious viewpoint at Hartshill Country Park. It crosses  a road, passing down an enclosed path to join the Centenary Way. From there it  joins a disused railway track for half a mile, then on to Lady Wood Farm and a short distance back to the start. 

We had permission to use the car park on condition we purchased drinks from their tap room bar. There are excellent toilets.  An 8-mile version of the walk can be found on the Ramblers' website.
